Training

Print PDF

In order to obtain your microlight pilot's licence, you require a minimum of 25 flying hours, broken up into 10 hours dual (ie. with your instructor) and 15 hours solo, although many student pilots require several more hours, both dual and solo, to achieve the high level of safety and competency that Sky Riders demands of its students.

Lessons are offered both in the morning and afternoon, with the earliest lesson beginning at 06h00 in summer. Flying takes place only during daylight hours.

During your training period, whether dual or solo, there is always a highly qualified Sky Riders instructor keeping a watchful eye on you.
